About Marianne Harmon, RN, MS, LMT

I am a registered nurse and former nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in nursing. I received my health coach training through the National Society of Health Coaches and the Academy of Integrative Medicine. The experience of working with those who are chronically ill has made me passionate about health promotion and prevention.

I am also a graduate of the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, Maine, and a professional member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). I have completed training in Swedish/relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy.  I am certified in CORE Myofascial Therapy and have additional training in Integrated Positional Therapy, Thai massage, Yomassage® and Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation.  I love to learn and constantly strive to further my knowledge and expertise through continuing professional education.

In my personal and professional life I try to live in harmony with the world around me. I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness.  When not practicing massage I enjoy spending time with my husband, two dogs and two cats.  Some of my favorite things include gardening, kayaking, hiking, xc skiing, the ocean, farmer's markets, good food, and road trips to explore all that New England has to offer.
