Myofascial Therapy

Myofascial Therapy is designed to improve flexibility, structural alignment and balance.  This form of client-centered bodywork uses slow deep pressure applied at a 45 degree angle to stretch and spread the body’s connective tissue (also known as fascia) and release restrictions.  It is highly effective in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries including repetitive motion injuries.  Myofascial therapy eliminates chronic pain while restoring greater length and movement to the body.  It is most effective when delivered in a series of sessions that focus on both region specific concerns as well as full-body treatment. CORE Myofascial Therapy was used as the premier treatment for the British Olympic Team at their 1995 and 1996 Olympic Training Camps held at Florida State University.
